We're as passionate about music as ever, and we're also invested in remaining flexible and safe. We want to meet the needs and preferences of our students and their families, so we have both adjusted in person and online study options available.
Based on information from federal, state and local officials, we've resumed in person private lessons and camps at all CMC Atlanta locations. For those who are comfortable attending in person activities, or in need of in person camp, we have posted our 2021 Music Day Camp schedule for CMC Decatur, Little 5 Points and Dunwoody.
Once schools reopen for fall term, we intend to continue in person lessons and group activities on a half or full day schedule, depending on the operating procedures of the local school district served by each CMC Atlanta location. We are currently enrolling students for in person attendance in our AfterSchool Music Program for the 2021-2022 school year. Please note: for the protection of faculty and students who attend such programs in person, we are following protocols and guidelines issued by health officials and regulatory agencies (masks, temperature check at arrival, etc.), and we are limiting enrollment and dividing groups into smaller learning pods at each location.
For those who are not comfortable attending in person activities at this time, we continue to host online private lessons, and we are offering a discounted half day online camp experience as an alternative to in person attendance. Once schools reopen in August, we'll continue with an online lesson option, and we will have a set of online enhancements available that draw from the music school immersion and group activities unique to CMC Atlanta programming.
New Address, May 2021
After 12 years of operating at our E Howard Ave address in downtown Decatur, we've moved our CMC Decatur location to a new, larger, better facility less than a mile away. We're excited to share our new space with the students, faculty, and families we serve.
