Faculty & Students
The most critical relationships in any school are those between faculty and students. Student success will depend on the individuals recruited by the Administration and their ability to design and implement programs with the interests and needs of students in mind.

Musette in D Major, J. S. Bach

Written by

Musette in D Major BWV Ahn 126

from the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach - compiled by J.S. Bach

Even though this Musette is in J. S. Bach's notebook, music historians do not know who composed this piece - it is considered to be anonymous.

Listen to how the performer - Rosalyn Tureck - plays this piece mixing-up jumpy and connected sounds.  The different ways we can change the continuity of a group of notes (such as playing them jumpy or connected, for example) is called articulation. Using different articulations in the same piece is an important rule of the Baroque period.
