Frederic Chopin – Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat Major, Opus 35
3rd movement- Marche funèbre: Lento
Chopin composed 3 piano sonatas. The second one became the most famous one because of its third movement, the Funeral March. It is a slow, beautiful and slow interlude for the other movements. It was played in Chopin’s own funeral. It has also been orchestrated by other composers, and has been used in movies and TV. Listen to the entire sonata in here.

CMC Atlanta is a music education company founded in 2007 as the L5P Music Center. In the nearly 20 years since our founding, we've grown from offering music lessons at a single site to a network of local community music schools (Decatur, Dunwoody, Inman Park, Little 5 Points and Brookhaven) that offers an array of innovative, but historically-informed music education programs to students of all ages and skill levels.
