Welcome to the Online Learning Portal

During the COVID-19 shutdowns, we've migrated activities from our facilities to the web, and we're posting our learning and training tools in a more public space so students and patrents can access them  Oor goal is for current and new students to benefit from ongoing interaction with our faculty and one another during this period of social isolation. Social isolation does not equal musical isolation.  We're getting started with some basics, but every day we'll be adding more information, lesson plans, links to useful resources and more.  We'll also connect you with the faculty you know and love, which will bring welcome normalcy to somewhat

CMC Atlanta COVID-19 Update

Dear parents and students,

Thank you for your patience as we continue to explore how to respond to the latest developments and governmental recommendations to COVID-19.  We want to be thoughtful in response to the latest information and updates, and ever mindful of needs and interests in our community.  Doing our part to help blunt the spike in infections is important to us, and at the same time, we don't want to overreact and shut down completely when we could provide students and families meaningful and relatively safe experiences making music with us.

In short, we will be open this coming week, but we're placing some limits on in person programs involving groups, and we are opening the option for online engagement with us.  If you know what you'd like to do already, please help us plan by completing the online COVID-19 Planning Form. If you'd like to know some details about our current plans and the logic informing our decisions, please feel free to continue reading.

Day Pass

Sometimes parents don't want or need to enroll a student in full or half day camp for a full week.  In this situation, we offer Music School Day Passes, which allow for a day of camp attendance on chosen days:

  • Full Day Pass, $85 per day, drop off begins at 8 am, pickup ends at 6 pm
  • Half Day Pass $60 per day, morning or afternoon

To purchase Day Passes, simply fill out the Day Camp Registration Form and choose from among the Music School Day Pass options provided.

After making your payment, you can register to use the Music School Day Pass for any day, in any camp, at any location for up to one year, with limits.  IMPORTANT!  Please note:  Music School Day Pass spots are limited and offered on a first-come-first-served basis.  Spots are reserved by purchase, payment and then completion of the Music School Day Pass portion of the Day Camp Registration Form.  With rare exception, we require 24 hours notice of a parent's intent to use a Music School Day Pass.  The more advance notice you provide by completing the form, the more likely it is there will be a spot open for a student.  You should assume that your enrollment dates are accepted once you receive a confirmation message from a CMC Atlanta Director or authorized faculty member.
