F. Chopin - Minute Waltz

Frederic Chopin – “Minute” Waltz Opus 64, no. 1 in D-flat Major

This famous composition of Chopin dates from 1847.  The name “Minute waltz” was given by the publisher, and, unlike what most people think, the “minute” was named in the sense of miniature, delicate, petite, small-sized, and not in the sense of time. Chopin never meant for the piece to be performed in just one minute.
